My Journey
Hi, I’m Mel — a busy mum, business owner, and total fitness lover who deeply understands how chaotic life can get.

I started BeneFit You because I lived the struggle myself. For years I worked in the corporate world, watching so many women trying to juggle being a mum, a partner, and a career woman… all while commuting, running households, and carrying the mental load. And the thing that always got dropped? Themselves.
​
I saw women losing their spark — and honestly, I saw it in myself too. My dream job eventually turned into a constant cycle of stress that pushed me to breaking point. That moment was my turning point. I knew something had to change.
​
So I stepped back. I found a lower-stress job, went back to study part-time, and became qualified to finally do what I love... helping busy women find themselves again. From there, the vision for my studio came to life — a warm, non-intimidating space designed for real women, real lives,
and real results.
Why I Do What I Do
Today, everything I teach is based on what helped me rebuild my energy, my strength, and my confidence. I believe in simple, sustainable steps — no fads, no extremes, no guilt. Just realistic fitness, nourishing habits, and little daily choices that help you feel fitter, firmer, stronger, more confident, and deeply empowered.

My mission is to help women wake up feeling energised, proud, and excited for the day ahead — not running on empty. To help mums feel present, positive, and like themselves again. And to show every woman that she is absolutely capable of feeling incredible in her body and life, even in the middle of the chaos.

What Makes Me Qualified To Help You
I don’t just teach this — I live it.
I lift weights, I do Pilates, I stretch, I run, I meal prep (in real-life mum style), and yes, I still enjoy the foods I love (hello TimTams). I push myself outside my comfort zone because I know that’s where the growth happens. I meditate, I journal, I jump in the infrared sauna, and I prioritise rest so I can show up as the energised, fun, fit, confident version of me.

I’ve also lived real life — pregnancy, childbirth, postnatal recovery, sleepless nights, stress, burnout, and even a hip and back injury that completely changed how I saw movement. That journey is what made me fall in love with strength training and how powerful it can be in helping your body heal, rebuild and thrive again.
